Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations or DUIs.
- Current DOT medical card is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to undergo sponsored CDL training if currently unlicensed (Sponsorship available).
