Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe and efficient manner on highways and local routes.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of duty status (RODS) and mileage logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (No experience required for entry-level trainees).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) valid for at least 2 months.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required; no major violations).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of vehicle systems.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
