Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) in accordance with all FMCSA and company regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secure and properly documented.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and strictly adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold a professional image and excellent customer service standards at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a zero-accident culture.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the appropriate endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Current DOT medical card and physical examination certificate (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Class A preferred for OTR roles).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and map reading.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
