Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to proper weight distribution and tie-down procedures.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and logbooks.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes and cargo status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with the appropriate endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR check required) with no more than two preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence.
