Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate equipment, ensuring the safety of the cargo and the public.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and complete all necessary paperwork (Bill of Lading, delivery receipts) promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR check) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
