Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Document delivery information and resolve any shipment discrepancies
- Represent the company professionally with all clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Florida traffic laws and Southeastern US geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
