Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks per DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of specialized materials
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain clean driving records
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with warehouse team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Physical ability to handle cargo loading/unloading (up to 50 lbs)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight routes as needed
