Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Nebraska and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Manage delivery schedules and timelines efficiently
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong navigation skills and route planning abilities
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
