Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul freight transport
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of hazardous materials handling (if applicable)
- Proven safety record with no major preventable accidents
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb/descend safely
- Excellent communication and time management skills
