Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) on multi-day routes
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch for route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat (X endorsement preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work flexible hours
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Kansas City metro area residency required
