Job Responsibilities

As a CDL Driver at Apex Transport, your primary focus will be the safe and timely delivery of goods across the region. You will represent our brand professionally and ensure all cargo is handled with care.

• Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation for all trips.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
• Uphold a clean driving record and a professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications

To be considered for this urgent hiring role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
• Absolutely NO DUI/DWI violations within the last 7 years.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
• Pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
