Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight to designated locations on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR, Hours of Service) and paperwork in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
