Job Overview:
We are looking for qualified candidates to operate our fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods across the region. You will represent our company with the highest standard of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure on-time delivery.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle maintenance checks.
