Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently in all weather conditions.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack) as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reports.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (BOL, POD).
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat preferred but not required).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
