Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to transport cargo across the region.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently at delivery points.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and hours of service.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills.
- Willingness to undergo paid training programs if required.
