Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in a professional manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely, adhering to weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and hours of service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Must include Hazmat endorsement if required for role).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and ability to navigate Boston traffic efficiently.
