Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) to designated locations across Colorado and neighboring states
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques and verify load documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients and resolve delivery exceptions
- Report maintenance issues immediately and participate in fleet inspections
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficiency in ELD devices and basic GPS navigation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management with zero-tolerance for late deliveries
- Knowledge of Colorado mountain driving protocols
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
