Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load scheduling
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery processes
- Secure cargo and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Report maintenance issues and ensure timely repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (current and in-state)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Portland metro area and Pacific Northwest routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts and weekend shifts
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
