Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across Ohio and regional routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining exceptional safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize route efficiency and resolve delivery issues
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures with proper documentation
- Represent the company professionally through customer interactions and on-road conduct
- Participate in regular safety training and equipment maintenance protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Familiarity with Ohio roadways and regional logistics hubs
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Must pass comprehensive background check
