Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) in a professional and courteous manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper securement and handling.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and DOT regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks requiring bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
