Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely and securely.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate class (Class A or B).
- Absolutely clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
