Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in Florida and Southeastern US
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs
- Ensure cargo security and proper loading/unloading procedures are followed
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Operate advanced telematics systems for route optimization and real-time tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
