Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in Georgia
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Load/unload shipments efficiently while verifying documentation and cargo security
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery status
- Report any accidents, incidents, or road hazards immediately to management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Georgia roadways and DOT regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
