Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Deliver freight to designated locations while adhering to DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and time management
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean MVR
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Chicago metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Physical ability to handle freight and outdoor conditions
