Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in Tampa, FL and Georgia
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure DOT compliance
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation for all shipments
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Familiarity with Tampa, FL and Georgia road networks preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
