Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight on dedicated regional routes with predictable home time
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and performance tracking
- Represent the company professionally at customer facilities
- Maintain clean driving record and ongoing safety certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license or ability to obtain one during paid training
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
