Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal route planning
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Strong understanding of hazmat regulations (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight travel
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be 23 years or older with 2+ years CDL experience
