Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes across Texas and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling and securement procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication at all delivery points
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat materials handling (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Proficient in using ELD systems and GPS navigation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
