Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) to ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS).
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in good condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery details.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and be insurable.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management skills.
