Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in varying weather and road conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately while securing loads properly.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (or willingness to obtain through our training program).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations ( DUI, reckless driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a mandatory Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading.
