Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across Wisconsin and Ohio
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology and real-time traffic updates
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Submit daily paperwork and delivery documentation promptly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Wisconsin/Ohio roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overnight trips
