Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Deliver freight to diverse locations including ports, warehouses, and distribution centers
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class A or B) with current medical certification
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Florida roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
