Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) across designated routes in Florida
- Load/unload cargo with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, and vehicle inspection reports
- Ensure timely deliveries while optimizing route efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning/night shifts and weekend availability
- Willingness to undergo background check and reference verification
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
