Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for hours of service and cargo
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and clients for timely deliveries and pickups
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Resolve delivery issues and provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and transportation regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
