Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated Pacific Northwest routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT-compliant logbooks
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route optimization and delivery scheduling
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials with proper certifications
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery verification
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Utilize telematics systems for efficient navigation and performance monitoring
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation systems
- Hazmat endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts as needed
