Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) adhering to FMCSA regulations
- Transport freight between Albuquerque and regional distribution centers
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of goods with warehouse teams
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification and hazmat endorsement preferred
- Proven ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of Albuquerque metro area and NM highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
