Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to deliver cargo to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service during stops and communicate any delays or issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
