Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or Class B) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent serious violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy for logging purposes.
