Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vans to transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of materials.
- Manage delivery documentation, including bills of lading and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while adhering to company dress codes.
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- Clear driving record with no serious traffic violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work flexible part-time shifts.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and cargo securement procedures.
