Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently for local/long-haul deliveries
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate delivery records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of specialized materials
- Utilize GPS technology for optimized route planning and real-time updates
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and delivery zones
- Basic computer skills for digital documentation and route apps
