Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Inspect vehicles for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and delivery exceptions
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and knowledge of Louisiana roadways
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- DOT medical certification current
