Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on assigned routes within the Albuquerque area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and document delivery times and customer signatures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
