Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (no more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with a clean record will be considered.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
