Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on local, regional, and OTR routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring securement according to DOT standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Uphold the company's high standards for cleanliness and professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo securement.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication tools.
