Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery while optimizing fuel usage
- Load/unload freight when required, following proper handling procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all DOT requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
