Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on highways.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and route planning.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and seasonal demands.
