Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers (Class A CDL) in various weather conditions and traffic.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Navigate complex routes, including the Texas and California corridors.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and map reading.
