Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for regional freight delivery in Stockton and surrounding areas
- Adhere to strict DOT safety regulations and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch clients and warehouse staff
- Perform basic truck maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while prioritizing safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (26ft+), insured and DOT-compliant
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems and local routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
