Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks for timely local/regional deliveries within Nashville and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifests using our fleet management system
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure compliance with DOT safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and delivery scheduling
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery confirmations
- Manage cargo security and proper handling of diverse freight types
- Submit timely expense reports and maintenance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial box truck driving experience
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) with current DOT inspection and insurance
- Familiarity with Nashville metro routes and surrounding states
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
