Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight transport
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely delivery and fuel efficiency
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of truck ownership or lease agreement
- Current DOT medical certification
- Reliable smartphone and GPS navigation
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and customer service skills
